TUMI introduces Asra, its latest collection of women’s handbags for the effortlessly stylish and on-the-go modern woman. TUMI has enlisted South Korean actress Mun Ka Young as the face of the new collection. Mun is best known for her roles in Tempted, Find Me in Your Memory and True Beauty.
The collection transitions from day to night, with feminine designs and elevated accents that merge functionality with style. It comes in three different sizes and four colours. including TUMI’s core Matte Black and three seasonal colours Moonlight, Cameo, Rose and Purple Sunset. Purple Sunset is a vibrant colourway inspired by the landscapes of Sentosa Island in Singapore.
Each Asra bag features pleating with a soft structure, coordinating hardware, and a knotted shoulder strap for added visual and textural interest. Additional touches include an exterior microfiber-lined pocket, perfect for a phone or pair of sunglasses, and a leather monogram charm (sold separately) to add TUMI’s signature touch of personalization to any Asra bag.

Mun flew in from Seoul to Singapore to attend the unveiling of her first-ever campaign for TUMi as the face of the new Asra collection on 27 March 2024. She arrived carrying the Asra Small Crossbody in Cameo Rose. She was joined by regional celebrities Isyana Sarasvati from Indonesia carrying the black Asra Shoulder Bag and iconic 19 Degree Extended Trip Expandable 4-Wheeled Packing Case in Mauve Texture, as well as Hong Kong singer and actress Charlene Choi with the Asra Small Crossbody in Cameo Rose and 19 Degree Aluminum Rolling Trunk in Silver, who arrived yesterday as well to attend the festivities. Also joining Mun on her journey to Singapore was Korean influencer Sung Hae Eun who travelled with the Asra Shoulder Bag in Moonlight and 19 Degree Short Trip Expandable 4 Wheel Packing Case in Mauve Texture.
