LOUIS VUITTON Monogram Metis Available in January 2013

22 December 2012, Singapore – Louis Vuitton launches two new Monogram Metis bags which will arrive in stores here in January 2013.   The Metis is the latest shape in the Louis Vuitton’s Iconic universe.  Its timeless and transversal style lets you carry the bag in three way giving you the flexibility to fit it to any occasion.  The Metis comes with a lighter supple leather with body-friendlier sahpes as well as the recognisable classic ‘S-lock’ buckle inspired by the heritage trunks.

Métis, in Greek mythology was the child of Oceanus and Tethys and spouse of Zeus.   The word Métis also meant wisdom and cunning which translates to Louis Vuitton’s noble and elegant design and heritage and functionality respectively.

The Metis Monogram is priced at S$2,100 featuring three way functions of hand, should and long-shoulder carrying.

The Pochette Metis Monogram will be available at S$1770 featuring two functional ways of carrying it – cross-body and hand carry as a clutch.
