Nike has launched its first Nike Unite concept store in Singapore at IMM. The newly refurbished, first-of-its-kind Nike store in Southeast Asia is 18,000 sq ft. The store aims to bring access to sport, add value to the local community and create a destination that brings people closer to sport as well as to one another.
There are very few Nike Unite stores in the world. There is one in South Korea, two in China, five in the United States and one store in both Germany and the United Kingdom.
Close to 50% of the floor space is dedicated to women and kids. Also half of the staff at the store are female. The new store provides women with access to specialist services including bra fitting and personal styling. Women also get a dedicated changing area.
NikeFit shoe fitting service is also available. The first-of-its-kind, tech enabled scanning solution uses a proprietary combination of computer vision, machine learning and recommendation algorithms that measures the full shape of both feet to determine the perfect fit for each shoe style.
Get Tees that carry country name prints from Southeast Asia at this store. They are sold in reusable pouches at the grab-and-go section near the entrance. Nike members can also personalise a T-shirt using one of the iconic Nike heritage decals or by having their name and favourite number heat pressed.
