RIMOWA Introduces Classic Titanium Luggage and Debuts Short-Form Series Featuring Michelle Yeoh

German luggage house RIMOWA expands its signature aluminium heritage with the introduction of the Classic Titanium collection, while also debuting a new short-form storytelling series led by Academy Award winning actress Michelle Yeoh.

Both initiatives reflect the brand’s long standing focus on craftsmanship, travel and cultural storytelling.

Classic Titanium Joins the RIMOWA Classic Range

RIMOWA has added Titanium, a warm aluminium shade with a satin finish, as a permanent colourway within its iconic Classic luggage collection.

Produced in Germany, the Classic Titanium line combines the brand’s traditional grooved aluminium shell with leather detailing and high-performance travel features.

The Classic Titanium suitcases retain RIMOWA’s signature design and engineering, built around an anodised grooved aluminium shell finished with black leather handles and sealing for a refined contrast. Palladium locks with silver rivets carry the brand’s distinctive airplane motif, while a stage free telescopic handle and RIMOWA’s Multiwheel system allow the suitcase to glide smoothly through airports and city streets. Security is handled by TSA approved locks, and inside, an adjustable Flex Divider system keeps belongings neatly organised during travel. Each suitcase also includes a complimentary leather address tag that can be personalised with your initials. As with all RIMOWA suitcases purchased since July 2022, the Classic Titanium collection is covered by the brand’s lifetime guarantee.

RIMOWA Launches Short-Form Series with Michelle Yeoh

Alongside the product launch, RIMOWA has introduced a new short-form storytelling series highlighting milestone moments from global cultural figures. The first episode features Michelle Yeoh, filmed during the moment she received the Honorary Golden Bear lifetime achievement award at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival.

Directed by French-Moroccan filmmaker Otman Qrita, the episode offers an intimate behind-the-scenes look at Yeoh’s career and her connection to cinema.

“I never imagined that a girl from Malaysia, who loved discipline, dance, dreaming without limits would travel so far through stories. My path has crossed languages and cultures, continents and genres. Sometimes gracefully, sometimes a little painfully but always guided by curiosity and deep faith in cinema.”

The series continues RIMOWA’s tradition of working with influential voices across film, art and culture to explore the dedication behind their craft. Through photography and short films, the brand aims to document defining moments that shape creative careers, linking the spirit of travel with personal milestones.
