It’s time to get on the dark side. Halloween is my excuse to go all out with my oxbloods and leather, and, with Ariana Grande’s dark plum “Bad Girl” lipstick about to hit the shelves, this season of vamp is in full swing. And, I look no further than French label, the Kooples for their grunge-worthy staples.
Channel our favourite Addams daughter with this 60’s inspired baby doll dress. It charms with its velvet top that flares into a slit skirt, perfect for those who wants to show off their legs. Pair it with Mary Jane pumps, UNDERGROUND creepers or Dr. Martens T-Bar.
As with anyone taken by Crimson Peak’s stunning wardrobe, I have gotten a strange obsession with florals. But, not in the summer, daisy sort of way. It seems like the Kooples got my memo.
Rock’n Roll Dandy
Strength is sexy with this full-on houndstooth suit. Still showing off that feminine allure, you’d be joining the ranks of Tilda Swinton, Alexa Chung and Kate Moss (the famed ladies who took these typically male trend and owned it)!
There’s always room for leather
In a country where shorts and slippers are the only weather appropriate outfits, leather aficionados sure have it hard. Go for this studded leather combo to keep things simple yet edgy, and skip feeling like a walking hot-box.
This is my ideal concert go-to. Just a pair of knee-highs and laced-up high boots and I’m all set.
Biker style gets reinterpreted in this comfortable polyester fit. It drapes delicately with side loop details, giving a feminine touch to the IDGAF vibe.
The loose checkered boyfriend shirt is as iconic to the look as much as a dark vampy lip. Here, The Kooples turned this comfortable staple into a sexy, see-through. It gives the “I just woke up and threw whatever on” look the ultimate feminine touch (also skipping the unflattering silhouette).
The Kooples F/W’15 is available at Robinsons The Heeren.
