The four-course Your World, Your Colours Menu by Janice Wong and SKIRT is priced at S$148++.
Former MasterChef Asia finalist and home cook Lennard Yeong collaborates with LaBrezza to create a unique Japanese-Italian menu including Spaghetti, Vongole e Sake that pairs artisanal spaghetti “Rummo” with dry sake-drizzled vongole veraci, as well as Savioardi al mascarpone mousse, sakura gel and macaron. At Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant in Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza, enjoy Peranakan-inspired fused with Cantonese dishes as Mediacorp star Jeannete Aw draws upon her Peranakan heritage and love for fairy tales. The menu here is one of my favourites amongst the four menus. It features Braised Chicken with Buah Keluak and Blue Pea Flower Fried Rice with Egg White and Scallop, as well as Baked Lava Cake with Gula Melaka and Coconut Ice Cream. The double-boiled salted preserved vegetable with duck soup and bird’s nest dumpling was absolutely divine leaving me craving for more. The four-course Oriental-Peranakan Fairy Tale by Jeannette Aw and Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant menu is priced at S$138++.
Mediacorp TV personality Pornsak was inspired by childhood memories of visiting “talad” or the local market in Thailand with his mother to pick out the sweetest pomelos. This fruit and other traditional Thai ingredients are featured in a special section at The Line’s international buffet on Mondays and Wednesdays. My favourite was the Crab Meat with Pomelo Salad. The robust flavours are simply memorable! The lunch buffet is priced at S$62++ while dinner is priced at S$79++.
