20 July 2012, Singapore – Marina Mandarin Singapore only Halal restaurant AquaMarine offers the Ramadan Iftar Feast from now till 18 August 2012.
Guest Chef Kamaludin Basyaeban from Meritus Surabaya City Centre in Indonesia will serve up authentic Indonesian dishes including specialties such as fragrant Indonesian Nasi Goreng, crunchy Gado Gado Surabaya and Sop Buntut (Indonesian Oxtail Soup). 34 year old Chef Kamaludin is a sous chef from the Surabayan hotel. Having spent over a decade learning his ropes from the renowned Hotel Borobudur in Jakarta, Chef Kamaludin has traveled to different countries as guest chef for promotion collaborations.
Four unique live station food stalls have been set up at the al fresco area serving succulent beef and lamb satay, spicy mee goreng, cooling ice kachang and teh tarik.
Be sure to check out the other desserts including Es Teller (Fruit Cocktail of avocado, jackfruit and shaved ice), Serabi (Indonesian rice flour pancakes with coconut milk), Lepet Jagung (wrapped corn cakes) and others.
Buka Puasa Iftar for Muslim Diners : Prayer rooms on level six, with separate male and female rooms will be appointed for Muslim guests where complimentary dates will be provided at dinner-time.
