CHAGEE Singapore has opened its latest and first-ever tea-and-retail concept in Singapore’s Chinatown. It is located at the corner of Trengganu Street and Pagoda Street, across from Chinatown Seafood Restaurant and diagonally across from the Chinatown Heritage Centre.

As part of efforts to revitalise Singapore’s Chinatown, CHAGEE Pagoda House joins other flagship openings, including Starbucks, which launched its Smith Street outlet earlier this year in April. Both brands have incorporated design elements that complement the neighbourhood’s character.

CHAGEE Pagoda House is designed as a modern social living room. Warm timber, patterned tiles, soft lighting, and communal seating inside invite guests to pause and connect over tea. Some of the seats have electrical points, so guests can charge their devices.

Ample indoor and outdoor seating is available, with power points indoors for guests who need to charge their electronic devices.

This store differs from other CHAGEE store in Singapore with CHAGEE’s first retail boutique. Get exclusive merchandise ranging from collectables, lifestyle items and a limited capsule collection designed in collaboration with Tell Your Children (TYC), available only here, while stocks last.

The Pagoda House Exclusive items designed by Tell Your Children include a Pagoda House oversized Tee (S$39.90), Alllover Cups and Logo Crest Socks (S$15.90 each), and a matching Heritage Embroidered blue cap (S$29.90)

Lawrence Wen CEO of CHAGEE Singapore

“Chinatown was once the heart of Singapore’s teahouse culture, where people gathered to rest, trade stories, and build community. Today, it continues to be a place where people from all walks of life come together — locals running errands, office workers taking a short break, and tourists exploring the neighbourhood. This store is where the past and present meet, a space that welcomes anyone to pause for a moment of connection, just like the old teahouses once did.”

Lawrence Wen, CEO of CHAGEE Singapore.

Interactive cultural programming will be introduced for the first time here from November onwards. Guests can expect palm-reading workshops, calligraphy sessions, Nanyang-inspired conversation cards placed around communal tables to spark reflection and connection over tea and guided photo walks through Chinatown, offering new perspectives on the neighbourhood’s textures, stories and hidden gems. They will be rolled out progressively.
