Exotic Flavours of Thailand at Marriott Cafe, Singapore till 15 October 2017

Marriott Cafe at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel is synonymous with its buffet spread during lunch, dinner and high tea. With its convenient location, you wouldn’t want to miss out the flavours of Thailand that is happening till 15 October 2017. They have specially brought in Chef Arnan Sinsanwit from JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok to prepare Thai favourites right here in Singapore. Chef Arnan comes from Marriott Cafe in JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok which has been awarded many accolades including Bangkok Best Dining Award – Certificate of Excellence in the Buffet category in 2016 and 2017.

Exotic Flavours of Thailand Dinner buffet is available daily till 15 October 2017 at S$72++ from Sunday to Thursday and S$80++ on Fridays and Saturdays while children pay S$38++ and S$40++ respectively. There is also a Thai High Tea Buffet available at S$45++ from Monday to Friday and S$48++ on Saturday and Sunday while kids pay S$27++ and S$30++ respectively.

My personal favourite is the seafood Tom Yum Goong, where Chef Arnan has used fresh succulent prawns and added a touch of coconut. The aromatic soup is thick and tastes as if you are having one right in the heart of Bangkok.

These Thai dishes are available together with the usual dinner buffet spread such as the iced seafood section comprising Snow Crab Legs, Boston Lobster, freshly shucked Oysters, Prawns and Crayfish as well as the noodles and hot food section. Other Thai delights available include the Spicy Chicken Soup with Thai Herbs, Chicken Broth or Braised Pork Soup, Spicy Pomelo Salad with Prawn, Spicy Minced Chicken Salad with Roasted Rice Powder, Stir-fried scallop with basil leaves, Steamed Sea Bass with Chilli and Lime Sauce, Baked Minced Seafood with Spicy Coconut Custard.

End of the meal with some traditional Mango Sticky Rice, Dumplings in Coconut Cream, Thai Style Coconut Jelly, Sweet Banana with Coconut Milk or Sago with Sweet Corn in Coconut Cream. These Thai dishes are served on rotation throughout the promotion.
