Craving for authentic Vietnamese food? Town Restaurant at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore has brought in three guest chefs from The Nam Hai, Hoi An in Vietnam for the Flavours of Vietnam. Available only for dinner from 21 September to 2 October 2016, you can enjoy a selection of Vietnamese dishes as well as the usual stations at the buffet spread.
Chefs Nguyen Ngoc Loc, Nguyen Thanh Tuan and Phan Huu Hoang will showcase a mouth watering spread.
Enjoy a la minute portions of Pho and other Vietnamese delights. You have to try the Suckling Pig – that crispy skin with non-gamey tasting meat. You’ll be going back for more. Other mains include the Braised Short Ribs, Steamed Clams with Lemongrass, Chilli, Beer and Herbs and Tossed Fresh Noodles with Bean Sprouts, Fresh Herbs and Hoi An Chilli Paste. Street food dishes including the Banh Mi are also available.
The salad station is one of my favourites. The is ample selection of salads that it would fill you up without even trying the other dishes. My favourite has to be the Banana Flower salad with smoked dark.
The Char-grilled Calamari Skewers go perfectly well with a glass of beer.
Flavours of Vietnam Dinner buffet is available from 6.30pm to 10.30pm from Sundays to Tuesdays at S$56++ (adult) and S$28++ (child). The buffet is available with a seafood selection and is priced at S$69++ (adult) and S$34++ (child). For S$89++ you can enjoy the buffet with the barbecue buffet and free flowing draught beer from Wednesdays to Saturdays.
