MasterCard is offering its cardholders Kids Dining Perks at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts. Pay with your Platinum, World and World Elite MasterCard when you dine at 25 participating InterContinental Hotels & Resorts across Asia Pacific, and your child under the age of 12 can eat for free. This is available only from Mondays to Fridays for both lunch and dinner excluding Public Holidays and other special occasions such as Mother’s Day, Father’s day and others. The offers are valid till 31 August 2017 and you cannot earn IHG Rewards Club points.

Participating F&B outlets at InterContinental Hotels include Ash & Elm in Singapore, Serena Brasserie in Kuala Lumpur, Chameleon Restaurant in Wellington, The Melting Pot: Market Café in Chennai Mahabalipuram Resort, Market 39 in Asiana Saigon, Espresso in Bangkok, Azure Restaurant in Hua Hin, Elements in Pattaya amongst others.

This new offer is part of the payment brand’s wider suite of exclusive premium products and services aimed at the delivery value to affluent cardholders.

The Asia-Pacific region has the largest population of high-net-worth individuals at an estimated 5.1 million. Japan has the second largest population of such individuals globally, while Singapore has the highest proportion of millionaires anywhere in the world. The growth of high net worth individuals in China is expected to reach 16%.

According to the Agility Luxury Travel Research, 76% of respondents in Asia Pacific are interested in exploring new destinations and activities, of which experience local food and cuisine tops the list of activities with 77%.
