Maison Ikkoku at Tanjong Pagar

Maison Ikkoku returns to a cosy spot in Tanjong Pagar with AI-Powered Five Elements Cocktails

Maison Ikkoku is back. Mixologist Ethan Leslie Leong has shifted from Maison Ikkoku’s former Kandahar Street home of many years to a new 12-seater cocktail bar at Orchid Hotel in Tanjong Pagar. The new concept continues the brand’s reputation for bespoke, handcrafted cocktails while adding a more intimate, personal layer to the experience.

The dramatic space offers deep red interiors, a glowing bar counter, shelves lined with bottles and plus red velvet curtains that can be drawn for private events.

Ethan wants his guests to enjoy a five-elements cocktail experience where the Five Elements Philosophy Cocktail is priced at S$23. This AI-powered cocktail starts with guests entering their birth date, birth time, and birth location into an AI chatbot on their mobile device, using specially crafted prompts to generate a personalised Five Elements profile and identify their weakest element. From here, Ethan crafts a cocktail inspired by that element. Your drink may know you better than some of your friends.
