Nando’s is making a statement – we are more than just chicken. They have revamped their menu with 20 new items, including nine burger, pita and wrap meals, ranging from S$10.90 on its own to S$19.90 with up to two sides.

So, what do you get when you give your employees the ultimate choice to make whatever they want in your kitchen? Well, at Nando’s, it gave birth to the Nandoca’s Choice Burger. Nothing complicated, and just focused on what makes a good fulfilling bite, it features a their flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken breast resting within two toasted garlic buns topped with crunchy coleslaw. It goes great with a splash of their Extra Hot or Herbs sauce.

Another highlight would be the Steak Burger. It will be the very first time they have beef on the menu, and it goes with the standard formula of a burger – basted beef fillet with fresh rocket, red pepper, pickled red onions and a PERi-PERi-based light mayo sauce.

Vegetarian options include the new Roasted Veggie Wrap at S.90 on its own, or from S.90 with sides.

Vegetarian friends can look forward to three new options; Veggie BurgerBlack Mushroom & Halloumi Wrap and Roasted Veggie Wrap. I was quite surprised by the Veggie Burger patty. It does not try to mimic meat. Instead, it is a wholesome, edamame-packed crispy patty with its own delicious flavour. Packed in between fluffy Portuguese rolls, it comes wide a tangy yoghurt sauce and chilli jam. The latter is similar to the sweet chilli commonplace in Singapore. I would request it on the side, and switch it up with their bottles of PERi-PERi sauces instead!

They are available right now, for dine-ins and takeaways island-wide.
