Ramen Champion Chef Keisuke Takeda is back with another all-new concept ramen store, Ramen Keisuke Lobster King, at Clarke Quay, Singapore. Ramen Keisuke Lobster King showcases Chef Takeda’s expertise in French culinary with his Lobster Stock Ramen creations. To make things even better, the 88 seater outlet will be operating daily from 6pm to 5am. Now you know where to get a delicious bowl of ramen for your supper cravings.
The Lobster Broth Ramens
If you are familiar with Keisuke’s chain of ramen stores, the ordering format is the same here at Ramen Keisuke Lobster King.
First choose your style of soup base from Lobster Broth Ramen with Clear Soup (S$13.90), Lobster Broth Ramen with Rich Creamy Soup (S$14.90), Miso Lobster Broth Ramen (S$14.90) & Spicy Miso Lobster Broth Ramen (S$15.90). Then choose your type of toppings with additional cost, and finally the preference for the intensity of the soup, noodle texture and the amount of oil in the ramen. This is the kind of details that Keisuke offers which I will appreciate as a customer, even though I prefer to choose the “NORMAL” authentic Japanese taste for my ramen.
For lobster bisque lovers, you have to go for the Lobster Broth Ramen with Rich Creamy Soup. I never imagined having ramen in lobster bisque!!! The flavours are strong and intense for this option, it is my favourite ramen from Lobster King. But if you want something light and close to our Singaporean palate, Lobster Broth Ramen with Clear Soup will remind you of our local Prawn Noodle Soup which is my second choice from Lobster King.
As for the choice of toppings, I always go for ALL TOPPINGS which is the most obvious choice to satisfy my gluttony for ramen cravings. But the deep fried prawn balls is the highlight from the topping options. It is super soft and light for the palate, considering it is deep fried and the taste perfectly compliments the lobster broth, replacing the need for a real lobster meat in Lobster Ramen.
The Omu Rice
Yes, Yes, Yes… Who will go to a ramen store to have rice? Not just foodporn worthy, the Fluffy Omelet Rice’s (S$10.80) savoury taste of the ketchup fried rice with the curry makes it so DAMN GOOD, that I would go back for more. Maybe I will bring a buddy to share one bowl of ramen and a plate of omu rice. YUM YUM YUM!!!
I recommend you to give Ramen Keisuke Lobster King, and I know you will not be disappointed. It is also value for money, since the most expensive bowl of ramen only cost S$21.90 that is with all toppings. They are located at Block 3C at Clarke Quay and only open for dinner and supper.
