The adorable Sanrio character-themed POMPOMPURIN Café will make its Southeast Asian debut in Singapore on 18 April 2016 with a 1,900 sqf cafe at #04-08 Orchard Central that can accommodate 78 persons. Pompompurin is the #1 ranked Sanrio Character in 2015.
Here you can enjoy an authentic experience including a menu of cutely-styled food and beverages, character themed merchandise and Japanese service. POMPOMPURIN Cafe in Singapore takes on a Garden City theme. You can request to sit at one of the four four-seater booth “Tomodachi House” (or Friends House) featuring one of Purin’s friends – Bagel the Squirrel, Coconut the Monkey. Mint the Frog and Macaroon the Golden Retriever.
You can even take home a POMPOMPURIN mug with every order of a dish that is marked with the POMPOMPURIN mug logo.
Some of the dishes that will be served here include Spaghetti Napolitana, Mushroom and Bacon Carbonara, Everybody Gather Around! Picnic Plate (Prosciutto & Camembert cheese bagel sandwich, eggs benedict and crispy bacon served with greens) all priced between S$24.99 and S$26.99. Other dishes include Coconut Milk Chicken Curry, Beef Stroganoff, Taco Rice in a Cup of friendship, all priced under S$20.00.
For desserts there is a pancake tower (S$21.99), Banana and Caramel Pancake (S$16.99), Mango Parfait (S$19.99) and I Am Purin Pompompurin Pudding (S$9.99).
The Cafe will be open daily from 11am to 10.30pm and will serve up mains, set meals, beverages and desserts. One third of the ingredients are imported from Japan.
Here you can also purchase POMPOMPURIN merchandise including handbags, water tumblers and push toys.
The cafe will not be taking reservations and takeaway services are not available.
