Michelin Guide has awarded T’ang Court at The Langham, Shanghai Xintiandi, the only restaurant in Mainland China Three Michelin stars in the inaugural Shanghai guide.
T’ang Court is under the culinary leadership of Chinese Executive Chef Justin Tan showcasing both traditional favourites and contemporary delicacies. T’ang Court in Shanghai joins T’ang Court in Hong Kong with three Michelin stars each.
“Fine Cantonese cuisine has been my lifelong passion and to prepare Cantonese dishes at the highest of standards at the esteemed T’ang Court at The Langham is a dream come true,” says Chef Tan. “I am always working on how to refine the basics and think innovatively whilst not sacrificing the authenticity of the dishes, and I’m happy that my team’s efforts have been recognised by the Michelin Guide.”
