Taiwanese tea beverage chain TP TEA will be opening its first outlet at Changi Airport Terminal 2 departure hall near to check in counter row 1 next to Krispy Kreme. Both outlets are managed Singapore food & beverage operator Manna.
The selection of freshly brewed teas at Singapore’s first outlet is priced from S$2.90 for the Tie Guan Yin Tea or Premium Green Tea. Served with crushed ice and 100% level of cane sugar in its original recipe, the two teas did not taste overly sweet as we would have expected. Both also had a layer of foam that had rich flavours from the tea leaves. A latte version is available if you prefer milk in your tea.
And if you like pearls in your beverage, go for the Pearl Black Tea Latte Red Bean (S$5.30). Filled with red beans harvested from Wandan in Pintung, Taiwan, chewy yet soft tapioca pearls and oolong tea. An iced or hot version is available.
If you are looking for something without caffeine, the Honey Lemon Drink (S$4.30) is an option. The Grade A lemons are imported from Pintung in Taiwan. All beverages are available in one size.
Perfect for the hot weather here in Singapore is the Pearl Milk Tea soft serve ice cream priced at S$3.60 per cup. The creamy tea flavoured soft serve and chewy tapioca balls are absolutely divine.
