Formaggissimo nights feature over 40 Italian varieties of cheeses in the dedicated cheese room. For S$40++, you get to enjoy unlimited servings of cheeses as you help yourself. Add another S$38 for free-flowing wine curated by Basilico’s General Manager Mauro Serrajotto who is also a certified sommelier.
Enjoy a series of DOP cheeses infused in-house. Crumbly Gorgonzola is coated with white chocolate or dark Valrhona chocolate and red chillis. And there are some cheeses soaked in Whiskey, Amarone and Prosseco. Try the different cheeses made with sheep’s milk.
Formaggio E Vino is held on every last Wednesday of even months. The Wine and Cheese journey focuses on Italy’s iconic wine regions with wine pairings from Veneto, Sicily, Tuscany and Piedmont. The next one is in April followed by June, August, October and December from 6.30 pm to 10 pm.
