Penang Hawkers’ Fare returns till 2 January 2016

The Penang Hawkers’ Fare at York Hotel Singapore returns till 2 January 2016. This is the third edition of the famous hawker fare this year and you can continue to enjoy the regular Penang culinary favourites such as the Penang Laksa, Penang Prawn Mee, Char Kway Teow, Cuttlefish Kang Kong and Ban Chang Kueh. This time round, there are 12 hawkers participating and the Curry Mee replaces the Roti Babi from the last edition of hawker fare. Also try out the Nasi Lemak with Nonya Chicken Kapitan, Penang Rojak, Lor Bak and Oyster Omelette. End off the meal with Ice Kachang and Chendol.

York Hotel Singapore is celebrating its 30th anniversary. You can take part in the Tikam Fun Dip and win lucky draw prizes for every S$80 spent. Prizes include discount vouchers for the next Penang Hawker Fare, S$12 à la carte vouchers and limited-edition recyclable tote bags. Other prizes include complimentary two-night’s weekend stay in a Premier Room with a S$100 dining voucher for use at White Rose Cafe or a one-night weekend stay in a Deluxe Room inclusive of a S$50 dining voucher for use at White Rose Cafe for two.

Also get chances for the grand draw prize in 2017 for a trip to Penang in February 2017.

The Penang Hawkers’ Fare is available for lunch from 12pm to 2.30pm or dinner from 6.30pm to 10pm. Priced at S$29 per adult and S$20 per child under 12 from Mondays to Fridays. On Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays, adults pay S$33 per person and S$23 per child. The hotel does not take reservations.
