Slingers beat the Dragons at the AirAsia Asean Basketball League in Singapore

17 October 2010, Singapore – When was the last time you went to watch a “live” sports competition?  The Singapore Slingers had a close game with the KL Dragons today at the AirAsia Asean Basketball League held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.  The final score is Singapore Slingers 74 and KL Dragons 61.  It was my first attending a basketball match.  The atmosphere was just amazing and full of energy.

Dennis helped me to video some of the highlights with the Canon Powershot S95.  Amazing clarity while I was taking photos with the SONY NEX 5.   I really like the panoramic feature of the SONY NEX 5.

We were sitting right in front together with the League’s title sponsor, AirAsia, where there were lots of food and beer keeping us filled and hydrated so that we had the energy to keep up with the pace of the basketballers and Singapore Sling Girls.
