28 February 2012, Barcelona, Spain – Nokia unveiled the Nokia 808 PureView at the Mobile World Congress here yesterday.

Nokia 808 Purview is the first smartphone to feature Nokia’s PureView imaging technologies – high resolution 41 megapixel sensors, Carl Zeiss optics and a new pixel oversampling technology. There are three shooting modes for you to choose from : Auto, Scenes and Creative. The phone is armed with a Xenon flash with an operating range of up to 3.5m.

You also have the flexibility of auto focus or touch to focus with a range of 15cm to infinity. Just like the iPhone, the Nokia 808 PureView lets you launch your camera from lock with full press of capture key.

At high resolution of 38 megapixel maximum, you can capture, zoom, reframe, crop and resize afterwards and yet capture sharp details.
