6 December 2012, Singapore – The Windows 8 powered Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 will be launched at Nokia retail stores here at S$899 and S$699 respectively from 8 December 2012. Both models now come with wireless charging capabilities through the inductive Qi technology built into the Lumia 920 or the interchangeable shell designs on the Lumia 820 and a wireless charging pad.

Nokia Lumia 920

The larger of the two Lumias, the 920 is packed with a 4.5″ Pure Motion HD+ display with ClearBlack technology that resists bright sunlight giving you a sharp and blur-free image when outdoors. The polycarbonate body smartphone comes with PureView imaging technology and Carl Zeiss optics as well as Optical Image Stabilisation and a floating lens so you can photograph blur-free and clear images when on-the-move or under low-light conditions.

Nokia Lumia 820

The Nokia Lumia 820 is positioned as a fashionable mid-range smartphone featuring a fat 1.5GHz dual-core SnapDragon S4 processor with a sensitive 4.3″ OLED ClearBlack display. The Lumia 820 comes with interchangeable shell covers so you can dress your phone in matching colours with your outfit of the day.

The Nokia Lumia 920 is available in Yellow, Red, Black or White while Nokia Lumia 820 comes in Black or White.

Nokia also offers a range of accessories to go with their new smartphones.

JBL PlayUp Portable Wireless Speaker for Nokia which come in Cyan, Yellow, Black or White and is available S$248.
The JBL PowerUp Wireless Charging Speaker for Nokia is worth considering but comes at a hefty S$468 which costs more than half the cost of the Nokia Lumia 920.

Wireless charging devices such as the Nokia Wireless Charging Plate (S$88), Nokia Wireless Charging Pillow by Fatboy (S$128) or the Nokia Wireless Charging Stand (S$128)

But it will take more than just snazzy accessories, interchangeable covers and wireless charging for me to get the new Nokia Lumia 920 or 820.
