Samsung has launched the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 in Singapore, with prices starting at S$518 for the Bluetooth Galaxy Watch9 and S$988 for the LTE-only Galaxy Watch Ultra2.
Pre-orders through Samsung and participating retailers, while Singapore telcos begin accepting pre-orders on 4 August. Both watches go on general sale on 14 August 2026.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is designed for endurance sports, trail running and diving, while the Galaxy Watch9 is the lighter everyday option for continuous activity, sleep and cardiovascular wellness tracking. Both run Wear OS 7 with One UI 9 Watch and use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite platform.

What is new on the Galaxy Watch Ultra2?
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is Samsung’s high-performance outdoor smartwatch. Trail Run mode can track elevation, climbing progress and terrain impact, while Nutrition Alert uses estimated sweat loss relative to body weight to provide hydration guidance during supported activities.
Samsung has also designed the Ultra2 for professional diving. It carries 10ATM and IP69K ratings, meets the EN13319 diving-instrument standard and can automatically display real-time depth, dive time and water temperature after the feature is enabled. An exclusive Ultra2 Diving app developed with diving equipment company Mares is expected later in 2026, adding features such as ascent and descent speed tracking and safe-dive limits.
The 47mm watch uses a titanium casing and has a 1.52-inch Super AMOLED display that can reach a localised peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits in bright ambient conditions. Samsung has increased the battery to 800mAh, rated for up to 60 hours with the always-on display enabled. Despite the larger battery, the body is 12% thinner than the previous generation, according to Samsung.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 comes in Titanium Silver and Titanium Grey, includes 2GB of memory and 64GB of storage, and supports LTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth and dual-frequency GPS.
What does the Galaxy Watch9 offer?
The Galaxy Watch9 is designed for comfortable round-the-clock wear. Its aluminium case retains Samsung’s cushion-shaped design but has been refined for a closer fit, while a selection of soft-touch bands supports exercise, daily use and sleep tracking.
The 40mm model has a 1.34-inch display and 390mAh battery, while the 44mm version has a 1.47-inch display and 445mAh battery. Both displays reach up to 3,000 nits, and Samsung rates the Watch9 for up to 30 hours with the always-on display enabled. Each model includes 2GB of memory and 32GB of storage.
The 40mm Watch9 is available in Graphite and Cream. The 44mm version comes in Graphite and Silver. Buyers can choose Bluetooth or LTE connectivity for either size.
Health features shared by both watches
Samsung’s BioActive Sensor supports continuous wellness tracking and feeds several AI-assisted features available across the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Watch9:
- Sleep Apnea looks for signs of moderate to severe sleep apnoea over a two-night period. It is not a diagnostic tool and regional availability applies.
- Vitals establishes a personal baseline from sleep data and can flag significant deviations.
- Heart Health Score turns cardiovascular indicators into a simplified score with personalised recommendations.
- Daily Cardio Load estimates workout volume and recovery needs.
- Fitness Index combines body-composition, VO2 max, activity and step data to provide a broader view of physical fitness.
- Hearing can alert users to potentially unsafe noise levels and provide sound-exposure reports.

Pre-order promotion and availability
Customers who pre-order a Galaxy Watch9 or Watch Ultra2 with any Galaxy smartphone or tablet in the same transaction can receive 10% off each eligible watch, while stocks last. The exact devices included may vary by retailer or platform.
Samsung, its Experience Stores and participating online retailers begin pre-orders at 9:00pm on 22 July. M1, Singtel and StarHub start taking watch pre-orders on 4 August. M1 will offer the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and the LTE version of the 40mm Galaxy Watch9 only.
General sales begin on 14 August through Samsung, participating telcos, Samsung’s official marketplace stores and major electronics retailers.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is the stronger option for athletes and outdoor users who need ruggedness, longer battery life and specialised trail or diving tools. The Galaxy Watch9 costs substantially less and is better suited to buyers who prioritise comfortable all-day wellness and sleep tracking.
