ViewQwest is making 2Gbps fibre broadband available for the first time outside of Japan to Singapore from 16 March 2015. This is the fastest residence internet connectivity in Singapore.

In November 2014, a select group of 50 customers were involved in a trial of this 2Gbps fibre broadband. ViewQwest has developed a methodology to provision of the 2Gbps fibre broadband service to customers with different setups based on the trial feedback allowing customers to plug-and-play their routers and devices with the hassle of configurations.

The new ViewQwest 2Gbps Fibernet broadband bundle is available in a single network or multi-network options. Bundles will continue to include ViewQuest’s Freedom VPN so you can enjoy home entertainment that were geo-restricted such as Netflix, Hulu, PPTV, Viki, BBC iPlayer, ITV and Tonton. Bundles also include the free ViewQwest TV, an Android-based media player that connects the TV to the internet, and add-ons such as OneVoice, a residential fixed line with free unlimited incoming and outgoing local calls.
