M1 is increased 4G LTE download speeds by up to two times in MRT stations especially during peak hours. It has completed installation of Nokia’s Flexi Zone small cells and WiFi networks to meet the demands of customers at various busiest MRT stations.
M1 has enhanced the data bandwidth at high traffic spots, removed network congestion and improved data speed while ensuring a seamless coverage and uninterrupted mobile service across M1’s cellular and WiFi network. The small cell and WiFi solutions are currently live at Orchard MRT station, Raffles Place MRT Station and Jurong East MRT station.
