The Hilton HHonors mobile app now lets you order an Uber as well as view your hotel stay information and check in on your Uber app when you are headed to your hotel. This integration of both parties’ mobile apps simplify the steps it takes to obtain quick information with a better experience.
When your hotel reservation reminder time approaches, the Uber app presets the hotel as the recommended destination. Once you are in an uber, you can tap the “view stay details” option in the Uber app which then guides you to the HHonors app via the HHonors integration to check in, choose your room and request a Digital Key.
To enjoy the integrated features, you need to download the Hilton HHonors and Uber apps in your mobile devices and have a current reservation under your HHonors account. Sign up for HHonors to enjoy an exclusive discounted rate when booking directly with Hilton as well as free standard Wi-Fi, Points and access to digital tools including digital check-in, Digital Key and Local Scene.
Hilton and Uber went into a partnership in September last year with Local Scene and Ride Reminder and have seen significant usage. Almost one-fifth HHonors members engaged with the app prior to or during their stay explored the Local Scene within four months of launch. Local Scene is a list of the most popular venues in a market based on the destinations of Uber riders in that area.
