Harilela Hotels will open its third hotel brand, The Hari, in Singapore in 2027. The former Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre at 11 Cavenagh Road, Singapore 229616 will be transformed into a luxury 326-room hotel, complete with a rooftop pool, executive lounge, curated dining and wellness offerings, and the brand’s signature rotating art collection.
The Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre first opened its doors in 1985 as Holiday Inn Park View and underwent a major multimillion-dollar refurbishment in November 2009 when it was officially renamed to its current name. Today, the hotel has 324 guest rooms, 10 function rooms, and 3 F&B outlets, including Window on the Park, Tandoor North Indian Restaurant, and Hari’s Lobby Lounge & Bar.
The hotel is located near The Centrepoint shopping centre, Cuppage Plaza and is within walking distance to other malls including Orchard Central, 313@Somerset and Somerset MRT Station
British designer Tara Bernerd, will bring her signature approach, seen in The Hari London (opened in August 2016) and The Hari Hong Kong (opened in December 2020), to The Hari Singapore, balancing contemporary elegance with strong sense of place. Guests can expect sophisticated, layered interiors.

The Harilela Group was established in 1959 and is still wholly owned by the Harilela family. It is the parent company of Harilela Hotels, which has a portfolio of 15 properties across Hong Kong, China, Asia, Europe and the US. In Singapore, it owns and operates the two Ambassador Transit Hotels in Changi Airport. We’ve also stayed in the Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong a couple of times because of its good location.
