Marriott wants you to do more than just stay. Marriott International is expanding its Good Travel with Marriott Bonvoy programme across Asia Pacific, excluding China, adding almost 100 experiences across nearly 80 hotels in 12 markets. The programme runs on two themes: community and environment.

The idea is simple. A hotel should not only be where you sleep. It should be where you understand the destination. Instead of sightseeing add ons, guests take part in activities tied directly to local communities and ecosystems. Some teach heritage. Others restore habitats. Most require you to actually get involved.

The programme reflects a shift in how hotels are positioning themselves. Less tour desk, more participation. You leave not only knowing where you went, but also how the place works. Sometimes you even leave something behind, planted coral, cleaner water or a revived tradition. For Marriott Bonvoy, the stay itself becomes the experience.
