Global travel app Skyscanner has launched a new Cheapest Destination Planner to help Singapore travellers plan for their next spontaneous, fast, and fuss-free escape without the stress of expensive flights. Singapore travellers spend an average of 134 hours trying to plan their vacation. That’s approximately 5.6 days per year.

The new app reveals the cheapest places to travel every month, including the average flight price and the cheapest day to travel. You can fly to Langkawi in Malaysia in February from just S$172, or take a summer coastal city break in June to Busan in South Korea for S$329, or an autumn getaway to Beijing in China in November from S$456.

Start by selecting the month you wish to travel. The Cheapest Destination Planner will show you the top 10 cheapest destinations (on average) for every month so you can make your choice. Once you decide, you can click through to explore flights and hotel options for your chosen destination.

Being spontaneous at times pays off with last-minute deals popping up such as Skyscanner’s app-exclusive “DROPS” with flights that have dropped in price by at least 20% compared to the previous week, refreshed hourly. And if you are not set on which destination to head to, the ‘Everywhere’ search ranks destinations by price showing the cheapest flights to anywhere in the world.

In another OnePoll research with 1,000 respondents, 91% of Singapore travellers are planning to travel in 2026, with 72% wanting to relax and recharge, while 54% want something to look forward to in the year ahead.
