Hello Kitty Friends Forever Party at SANRIO HELLO KITTY TOWN

SANRIO HELLO KITTY TOWN in Nusajaya, Malaysia will be celebrating Hello Kitty’s 40th Anniversary with a series of activities at the theme park in Johor Bahru from 31 October 2014 to 2 November 2014. Dubbed Hello Kitty Friends Forever Party, the three day carnival starts from 10am to 10pm daily.

The celebration features four major highlights:

• Hello Kitty Friends Gathering – First and largest Hello Kitty fan gathering in South East Asia and is expected to be a record-breaking gathering of thousands of fans outside Japan
• Hello Kitty Friends Fiesta – Get your hands on limited edition merchandise and exchange and showcase memorabilia and mingle with other Hello Kitty Fans in a Hello Kitty-themed Street Fiesta. Street shows, magicians and performers will also be on the streets to entertain you and there is also a food bazaar.
• Hello Kitty Friends Catwalk – This grand finale is the culmination of the Hello Kitty’s 40th Anniversary Fashion Design for emerging young Malaysian designers to showcase their talent. The top 10 designers will compete on a grand stage where one winner will be announced at the event and given a RM5,000 cash prize along with an opportunity to meet and greet Hello Kitty herself.
• Hello Kitty Friends Rock Music Festival – Hello Kitty will be rocking with several of her idol friends. Popular Malaysian J-Rock band Fly1ng Pan and Malaysian Pop Punk band BunkFace will be performing at the festival.
