Japanese whisky house Nikka Whisky has collaborated with Singapore’s homegrown perfumery Oo La Lab to celebrate Nikka From the Barrel’s 40th anniversary, offering a multisensory experience that marries whisky appreciation with fragrance design. This ticketed journey is available for a limited time in October.
Nikka From The Barrel was first introduced in 1985, delivering full flavours and richness of whisky, just like it would “from the barrel.” With a higher ABV 51.4% and Nikka’s proprietary “marriage” process, the whisky offers a taste profile that is subtle and mellow.

The Nikka From the Barrel x Oo La Lab experience will be held at Oo La Lab’s new studio at Delta House. Guests can craft their own tipples at the custom-built DIY highball station and take in the aromas and scents of individual ingredients. After that, guests will translate their interpretation of the whisky into a personalised perfume with the guidance of experts at Oo La Lab.

Each session is limited to 25 participants. There are only 8 sessions held on Thursdays and Saturdays in October. Tickets are priced at S$98++ per person and include a full-sized bottle of Nikka From The Barrel that retails at S$85++ and a personalised 20ml perfume. Make your reservations here.

La Maison du Whisky is offering a 15% off Nikka from the Barrel bottles exclusively in the month of October 2025 when you purchase from its online retail site.
