Head over to Resorts World Sentosa on Sentosa Island to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. Fun-filled festivities, entertainment and Lunar New Year feasting at Feng Shui Inn await. The fun festivities continue in Universal Studios Singapore. Visitors can expect an exhilarating Starlit Dragon Spectacular live performance that features a majestic 88-metre-long LED Dragon on 10, 13 and 16 to 18 February 2024 at 7.30 pm and 8.30 pm. God of Fortune will also make a special appearance before the show.

At AVE8, a whimsical gathering of miniature fire-breathing companions, eight pint-sized dragons, each cuter than the last, form an adorably fierce entourage in front of a majestic five-meter-tall dragon, the undisputed monarch of the whimsical realm. It’s a fantastical photo-op where folklore meets photogenic, and the result is pure, unbridled joy. Who knew that a dragon family reunion could be this charming?

AVE8 will also feature free public performances with Mando-pop faves and live bands from 10 to 18 February and 24 February 2024.

Auspicious Meanings of Greetings inspired by Marine Animals

Go on an interactive journey and learn about the Chinese greetings that intertwine with the characteristics of marine animals including the weedy sea dragons, archerfish, sand tiger sharks, and lyretail anthias. The weedy sea dragons play an important role in the year of the dragon, being the only real dragons in town. They are also a relative of the sea horse.

An exhilarating Starlit Dragon Spectacular live performance commences with five drummers symbolising the five elements in the world – Earth, Water, Air and Spirit. The 88m LED dragon makes an anticipated appearance and blesses the crowd at the Lake of Dreams of Level One at the Forum. A God of Fortune will make a special appearance as a pre-show item.

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Executive Chef Li Kwok Kwong from Feng Shui Inn presents an Eternal Fortune Menu priced at S$288++ per person. Guests will enjoy the Double-boiled Imperial Bird’s Nest, Fresh Crab Meat, Superior Stock; Stewed 6 Head South Africa Abalone, Sea Cucumber stuffed Shrimp Paste; and Crispy Suckling Pig Fillet, Crispy Crab Claw in Thai Sauce.

Additionally, an à la carte menu showcases delights such as the exquisite Lobster, Shredded Taro with Ice Plant Crystalline Yu Sheng and Homemade Aged Vinegar Dressing at S$188++ per portion. The Classic Auspicious Treasure Pen Cai, featuring premium seafood like abalone, sea cucumber, top-tier dried scallops, and fresh grouper, is available for S$688++ for a group of 10. Other recommended dishes include Stir-fried Tiger Prawns with Dried Oyster and Spring Onion (S$48++ per portion) and the Signature Roasted Crispy Chicken (S$32++ per half portion).
