As if the eighth installment of Singapore’s biggest pop-culture event is not exciting enough, Hot Toys once again joins STGCC with the latest collectibles from Marvel and Star Wars. This will include the world premiere and pre-order of the exclusive 1/6th scale figures from Iron Man and Star Wars!
Yes, the highly-anticipated Iron Man 3 Mark XXIV (Tank) Collectible Figure will be available at the event, accompanied by Mark IX and Mark XXVII (Disco) mini collectibles. Add in Maria Hill, as played by Cobie Smulders, and the rest of the crew, and you may very well reenact every single scene in the movie.
As for myself, I will keeping an eye out for Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch. Just look at it. I need it, we all need it so very much.
Star War fans do not need to feel left out. Hot Toys will be releasing a special version of Luke Skywalker, as played by Mark Hamill disguised as a Stormtrooper in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. Reminiscent the heroic moment of braving the enemy lines as he slips into the detention center to save Princess Leia.
And, with the internet bursting with excitement over what could be Hideo Kojima’s last Metal Gear Solid game with Konami (the removal of “A Hideo Kojima Game” tagline still burns), I would have been livid if Hot Toys did not bring anything from the series. Thank goodness, for they will be bringing in cyborg Raiden from The Metal Gear Rising: Revengence! In his Inferno Armour version, he stands gloriously in striking metallic red and gold, tempting fans all around. Let’s just surrender our wallets the moment we walk into the event hall, shall we?
