“Be There” by Smirnoff returns for its second party installment with Trance maestro DJ Bobina performing for the first time in Singapore on 3 December 2010 at Double O.
DJ Bobina comes with a long list of credentials including being voted no. 16 DJ in the World by DJ Mag, no. 1 DJ of Russia in 2009 and Best Russian DJ of 2007 at the Russian Dance Music Awards to name a few. In addition, he has released numerous tracks with world renowned labels such as Ministry of Sound, Perfecto and Armada & Nebula.
Several top DJs such as Paul Van Dyk, Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten have remixed DJ Bobina’s tracks and have his tracks as part of their playlist. Ferry Corsten himself commented “All the productions I hear of this man are solid, very well produced and have a great response from the crowd whenever I play them in my set.”
In September 2005, DJ MAG (UK) gave 5 out of 5 for DJ Bobina’s single “September Rain” that was produced by the leading British label Newstate Music! That was one of the few times DJ Mag (UK) has awarded such a high rating for any singles. “September Rain” is the first Russian trance single since “ResuRection” by PPK awarded such a high mark from western music critics.
