Miss Universe Singapore 2021 edition is back to look for a new winner to take over the coveted crown from Bernadette Belle Ong. Ong made her international debut at the recently concluded international competition held in Florida recently. Remember her in the red and white Stop Asian Hate cape?

This year, the competition goes digital through visual media and technology with a hybrid finals event scheduled in September 2021. In the lead up to the finals in Singapore, this year’s edition aims to showcase the city state’s hidden gems, unveil culture and partner with local Singaporean artists in the arts and fashion spheres through a series of fashion films that will be premiered across digital platforms.

The title comes with values and responsibilities and the winner is expected to be confident, cosmopolitan and fashion-forward. She needs to demonstrate authenticity and the ability to articulate her ambition. She is also socially connected and universally empowered, embodying a global aspiration, and is a positive force for good.
