Ash & Elm at Intercontinental Singapore has launched a new Sunday Champagne Brunch from 31 March this year.
Themed French, this Sunday brunch features French cooking techniques by newly appointed Chef de Cuisine Adrian Chan who was trained in French cuisine. And of course champagne from the house of Taittinger.
Chef Adrian used to help his mother at her hawker stall from young and joined the world of culinary arts at 21 years old. Today, the 32-year-old chef has nine years of culinary experience from working at reputable establishments in hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants around the world.
The S$148 per adult brunch is available every Sunday from 12pm to 3pm. Unlimited Taittinger Brut Champagne, house wines, beers, soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea are available. For S$98 per adult, the brunch includes Bloody Mary Cocktails, soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea.
Children pay only S$48. There’s also a small kid’s corner.
Any brunch buffet spread would not be complete with fresh seafood on ice. There’re two types of oysters, scallops, mussels, conch, lobsters and prawns to choose from. They do pair really well with champagne, by the way.
You’ll like the caviar station with a selection of five different types. Well, that’s if you like caviar.
Three iconic tasting platters at the Sunday Brunch comprise nine à la minute petit plates. Pretty & tasty mini plates.
The hot food section is substantial. Not overwhelming but still a sizeable spread.
It is easy to miss out the other sections. So don’t forget the cold meats, cheese and pizza area at the entrance or the small bites section.
Desserts are absolutely wonderful. So remember to save some space for them.
Enchanté. Joie de vivre.
