This buffet is generous with the booze, serving a free flow of Prosecco, Mimosa or Bellini. This alone pays off the price of the buffet. But never drink with an empty stomach. Start with a platter of Yakitori to complement your sparkling wine or cocktail, while you wait for the mains.
NUVO offers a good range of pizzas like the seafood combination with clams, prawns and snapper; or a vegetarian with truffled mushroom, baby spinach, asparagus and pine nuts. I would also highly recommend the pizza with chicken karaage topped with wasabi cream and crispy basil.
The Angel Hair Wakame Pasta is a must try. It is one of the most popular dishes in the restaurant. This simple yet delectable dish is made with lobster essence and Rayu oil and sprinkled with Tamago Furikake. It is light and flavourful, perfect for a buffet as it leaves you with enough appetite for more food. Other pasta options would be the creamy Smoke Salami Carbonara, or a unique Corn and Crab Lasagne.
The man behind the food in NUVO is Executive Chef Mark Richards who took over the reins of the kitchen in January this year. With 16 years of experience, Chef Richards is known to have perfected the sous vide technique, allowing him to consistently produce the high quality in some of his signature creations.
Beyond this value-for-money weekend buffet, NUVO also offers 3-course set lunches from SGD15++ and 4-course set dinners from SGD 35++ during the week.
