In 2017, Amazon Prime Now was launched for the first time in Singapore. Singapore residents could get their favourite gadgets, toys or chilled beverages for last-minute parties and also groceries. Amazon Prime membership was also introduced to allow free two-hour delivery within Singapore for purchases above S$40, free international shipping on over 5 million items, Amazon Prime Video and Twitch Prime. All these for S$2.99 subscription per month.
We received an email from Amazon notifying us of a new Amazon Prime membership that has been automatically upgraded.
What’s new includes unlimited free and fast one-day delivery on eligible items purchased from Amazon.sg or on the Amazon app with no minimum order. Another new benefit is 30-minute early access to Lightning Deals. This can be accessed by choosing the Prime Early Access filter when searching for deals. The other benefits remain the same. Twitch Prime has changed to Twitch Channel subscription where a free in-game loot is offered every 30 days.
Subscription to Amazon Prime remains at S$2.99 per month.
