This Year of the Horse, the LEGO Group brings life-sized displays to in-store activations across Singapore. LEGO Group invites everyone to gallop into playful horizons.
The LEGO God of Fortune mascot made rounds at selected LEGO stores to grant the first 88 customers a LEGO-themed angbao, a LEGO Candy Box and an S$8 voucher earlier this month. From 8 to 15 February, customers who spend S$88 in a single receipt stand a chance to win a 999 Gold God of Fortune Collectable, with 25 winners and prizes worth S$8888 to be won daily in the LEGO 8-Day Gold Rush.
In the heart of Chinatown, look out for the life-sized LEGO masterpieces. Hugo the Horse at the entrance of Chinatown Complex is the first-ever LEGO zodiac centrepiece unveiled for Lunar New Year. Hugo the Horse is crafted with 89,074 bricks and took over 445 hours to assemble.
From 9 to 22 February 2026, the festive LEGO pop-up will be at Bugis+ level 2 Atrium. Snap photos at a specially designed LEGO Lunar New Year backdrop. Enjoy a complimentary Make & Take activity to build and bring home a mini-LEGO horse. A rich, detailed diorama by local LEGO fans will be on display, complete with a coin hunt for a chance to win LEGO sets.

Spring Festival Galloping Horse Canvas
This is the eighth year that the LEGO Group has released Chinese Traditional Festival sets. The 80199 LEGO Spring Festival Galloping Horse Canvas (S$149.90) features a dynamic horse motif combining LEGO bricks with a painted brush-style canvas, brought to life with a turn of a handle to symbolise “success upon arrival”. We got hands-on and assembled the Spring Festival Galloping Horse Canvas, the Lucky Cat, and the Spring Festival Fortune Fire Cracker.
The 80119 LEGO Spring Festival Galloping Horse Canvas is a great group activity for up to three people using the LEGO Builder – Build Together App. All three team members need to download the app and will be assigned different tasks then pass them to the other team members. This is where you see true teamwork to accomplish the task of completing the set.
Fortune Firecracker
The 80118 LEGO Spring Festival Fortune Firecracker (S$119.90) was completed by our video editor, Dennis, in three hours. The firecracker features intricate details, including a button to open the doors, which reveal either an interchangeable set of a fortune god or a family enjoying the festivities within.
Lucky Cat
I was tasked to assemble the 40813 LEGO Lucky Cat (S$45.90) because it was the easiest to assemble with only 280 LEGO pieces. The movable raised arm makes it a very cute Prosperity Cat.
