The British Airways First Lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 5 gets a refurbishment featuring a brand new contemporary and stylish furnishing throughout the lounge with plush new carpets, re-sanded, waxed and polished extensive oak wooded floors, and more power outlets to charge your smartphones, laptops and tablets. Over 220 new pieces of furniture ranging from stylish high-backed chairs, occasional tables, dining furniture and relaxing sofas have replaced the First lounge’s older furniture.

The First lounge also features ‘The Gold Bar’ which is covered in gold leaf and is lit by a Swarovski crystal chandelier. The bar is stocked with fine wines, champagne and spirits. There is also a dedicated Champagne Bar which is surrounded by banquette seating, decorated with a subtle Concorde motif, serving top champagnes including Castelnau Vintage 2004, Taittinger Brut Rose NV and Taittinger Vintage 2006.

The dining area offers hot and cold food and a wide selection of beverages. You can either dine alone at individual tables or in groups.

The Elemis Spa offers specially prepared treatments should you need to loosen those knots or a refresh.

High speed WiFi is available throughout the lounge. A Work and Entertainment Zone provides personal computers for guests to use.
