21 August 2012, Seoul – Readers of online publication Frequent Business Traveler have voted Korean Air’s Business Class lounges as best in the world in the Frequent Business Traveller GlobeRunner Awards which recognises the world’s best travel companies which include airline, hotel, car rental agencies and travel websites.
Award nominations were made by the pubication’s editorial team of travel journalists in more than 20 categories. Voting was done online from 1 March to 15 May and almost 50,000 votes were cast. Winners are awarded with a personalised award and a donation will be made in their name to the PKD Foundation which is dedicated to discovering treatments and a cure for Polycystic Kidney Disease which claimed the life of Frequent Business Traveller co-founder Greg Spira.
