Madame Tussauds Singapore will for the first time open in Singapore, joining the other popular Madame Tussards in Asia including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, Bangkok and Wuhan. The wax museum will open at Imbiah Lookout on Sentosa in second half of 2014. Its design and choice of figures will be tailored to reflect the culture and excitement of its Singapore and Southeast Asia location. It will also be the only Madame Tussauds outside its flagship location in London to incorporate a ride into the experience.
Merlin Entertainments, the owners of Madame Tussauds, will also manage Images of Sentosa (IOS) attraction in Sentosa. Images of Singapore showcases Singapore’s rich culture and history with the use of multimedia displays and theatre presentations. Merlin Entertainments will enhance the current visitor experience at IOS through a significant investment programme to relaunch it as an exciting, contemporary world-class attraction which can be enjoyed by locals and international visitors of all ages.
Admission fee to both attractions combined will be S$30.
