The airline is considering four new destinations Paris, Amsterdam, Hamburg and Rome as part of its European route expansion plans. PAL’s new long-range A350-900s would allow it to offer more non-stop flights to Europe. Today it flies to only one European destination – London. In Oceania, PAL will open twice weekly flights to Saipan in the Northern Marianas Islands on 15 June 2016.

It will open daily services between Taipei and Kansai on 25 June and five weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and Doha on 28 March 2016. In January last year, it opened four weekly connections between Dubai and Kuwait as well as three weekly connections between Dubai and Jeddah.

Due to high demand on certain routes, PAL will increase its flights to Riyadh from six to seven from 27 March, to Darwin and Brisbane from three to four from 28 March, to Canton from four to five on 1 May, to London from five to six from 4 June and from six to seven from 28 June, to Taipei from seven to 11 from 25 June, to Kansai from seven to 14 from 25 June and to Peking from four to eight from 1 July.
