Saudia has introduced Google’s share item location feature to support the recovery of lost or delayed baggage. The optional feature allows passengers to share the location of their baggage with the airline during the claims process.
Passengers using compatible tracker tags or Bluetooth accessories can generate a secure, temporary link and attach it to their baggage claim report. This gives Saudia’s ground teams access to time-limited location data, helping identify and recover baggage more efficiently.
The shared link expires automatically after seven days and can be stopped at any time by the passenger. Location data is only accessible for baggage recovery purposes.

The feature complements Saudia’s existing baggage recovery processes and is designed to provide greater visibility and control for passengers. Saudia is among the first airlines globally to support this capability as part of its broader digital transformation strategy focused on improving the guest experience.
Passengers can access the feature by ensuring their devices and tracking accessories are compatible and updated to the latest supported software versions.
