SkyTeam airline alliance with 20 member airlines will increase its customer benefits and more codeshare opportunities for members.

It is also the first to introduce SkyPriority. This network-wide red carpet treatment for top customers offers an aligned priority airport benefit across all its airlines. There are eight SkyPriority benefits for frequent flyers. Enjoy priority for check-in, baggage drop, security clearance, boarding, priority baggage delivery and at transfer desks, ticket desks and immigration.

SkyTeam launched a SkyPriority Customer Audit app that lets customers rate their travel experience with a SkyTeam airline. Over 8,000 top tier frequent flyers have joined a nine-month pilot phase before the app’s launch globally. The app is free to download and available in English, Spanish and Simplified Chinese. 11 other languages will be rolled out through summer 2016.

Perry Cantarutti, SkyTeam’s CEO and Managing Director explained at IATA’s 72nd AGM in Dublin, Ireland that invites will be sent to SkyTeam members’ database based on a set of criteria. This criteria includes travel frequency and Elite member status or frequent first and business class customers. They can download the app and give feedback of SkyPriority services at every step of their journey at over 1,000 airports.
