A new personality has made its debut at Resorts World Sentosa. Horatio, the resort’s first-ever full-fledged bar, setting a new benchmark for Sentosa’s cocktail scene.
At first glance, it looks like a charming whisky boutique at Crockfords Tower. But don’t be deceived. Those in the know will find a secret door hidden behind the shelves, opening into a lush, dimly lit bar that feels worlds away.
Horatio isn’t just another whisky bar. It’s a spirited hideaway where cocktails come with a dash of mystery and a splash of adventure. Every concoction tells a tale from the travels of one Horatio Fairchild, a fictional explorer who’s wandered through the world’s finest distilling regions. His adventures, steeped in the golden age of exploration, inspire a menu that bridges centuries and continents.

Three distinct realms unfold – The Retail Emporium, The Main Parlour, and The Enclave, each with its own story to tell.
The Retail Emporium is the first gateway featuring a selection of rare and exclusive bottles, off-the-menu exclusives and bespoke tasting flights. It’s a collector’s dreamscape where every bottle carries a story and every purchase lets you take home a piece of adventure.
Beyond lies The Main Parlour, the heart of Horatio. Here, bartenders become storytellers, and the Trails & Tales cocktail journey takes guests across the world’s legendary distilling regions. Each of the 12 signature drinks captures a chapter of Horatio’s travels, turning every sip into an act of discovery.
Hidden from plain sight, The Enclave awaits only the most curious. This invitation-only chamber reveals Horatio’s rarest creations, each shrouded in mystery and served with a whisper of legend. It’s a speakeasy within a speakeasy. How cool is that!

Twelve cocktails, each priced at S$26, come with their own story. You can take your time to read them or simply ask the bartender for a recommendation if you’d rather skip the lore. These drinks aren’t just pretty. They taste as impressive as they look.
Standouts include Kueh Kueh Spirits, a bourbon-based creation inspired by the traditional herbs and spices of Nyonya cuisine. Served in a teacup, it combines gula melaka, coconut, winter melon calamansi, and salted egg yolk for a rich yet balanced finish.
Then there’s Dragon’s Breath, which recounts Horatio’s encounter with a monk who guards the secret of Baijiu fermentation. This cocktail captures the patience and fire of that story through a blend of Cognac, Dry Sherry, black dates, light soy sauce, and aromatic bitters.

Lost Caravan is a cocktail that journeys through the heart of India’s spice trade. Made with dry gin, turmeric, green mango, curry leaf, jaggery vinegar, and pepper, this light and refreshing cocktail captures the soul of Kolkata’s bustling markets in a glass. Inspired by Horatio’s encounter with a mysterious spice merchant guarding a seventh-generation secret, each sip reveals layers of warmth, tang, and tradition. It’s a spirited tribute to the ancient trade routes where flavour and history intertwine, proving that true distillation is the art of preserving culture in liquid form.
Maestros Daughter is a cocktail that captures the soul of Havana nights. Presented like a secret treasure, the cocktail sits within a ring of lustrous pearls atop a vintage chest. Crafted with pineapple rum, Amontillado sherry, cassis, lime, island spices and a brûlée touch, it’s a story in a glass. Inspired by Horatio’s moonlit dance with a rum distiller’s daughter, each sip evokes the warmth of the Caribbean breeze and the rhythm of a slow-aged spirit.

Even the non-alcoholic options hold their own, offering thoughtful, well-crafted alternatives for those skipping the booze but not the flavour.

There are over 300 rare bottles waiting to be discovered. You’ll spot Macallan The Ranch 81YO, Karuizawa Omoiyari 36YO, Port Ellen 1978 43YO and Brora 1977 45YO sitting proudly on the shelves. The collection ranges from barrel-aged agave spirits and rare single malts to exquisite eaux-de-vie and artisanal amaro, each handpicked for its story and character. There’s even a 1988 Macallan cask bottled exclusively for Resorts World Sentosa. Every time you visit Horatio, you uncover something new. Because here, the adventure in spirits never really ends.

Each dish tells a story of flavours discovered along the way, from Japan to the Mediterranean. Highlights include Wagyu Beef Skewers marinated with whisky mustard and finished with chipotle mayo and garlic chips, and New Zealand Salmon Tacos served in crispy shells topped with Osetra caviar and spicy aioli. Other small plates like Togarashi Spiced Calamari, Local Beetroot Croquettes, and Crispy Sicily Sardines make perfect companions to Horatio’s inventive cocktails.
Horatio is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm – 11pm. It is located at Level 2, Crockfords Tower, 26 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098140. Call +65 6577 6688 or email [email protected] for reservations.
