Peppermint at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore offers a spread of authentic Taiwanese street food and traditional favourites for a limited time in July. Peppermint’s previous Peranakan-themed buffet spread was a hit for us.

Highlights from Tastes of Taiwan

Executive Chef Chan Tuck Wai and his culinary team present popular Taiwan dishes. There is the Braised Chicken One-bowl Rice, Braised Black Angus Beef Taiwanese Hamburger and Flame-grilled Diced Beef Cubes. Other specialities include Scallion Egg Pancakes, Pan-fried Crispy Bun, Three-cup Chicken with Roasted Garlic and Basil (affectionately known as San Bei Ji). The Oyster Mee Sua is so good you’ll keep returning for more servings. And do try the Taiwanese Sesame Chicken, Braised Duck with Yam. Taiwan fish dishes include the Fish Collar Stewed with Clam and Miso, Home-style Steamed Sustainable Barramundi with Pickled Radish, and Fish Stew with Chilli and Basil.

Don’t forget to try the Honey Barley White Corn that is sourced from Tai Nan, Yunlin County in Southern Taiwan. The corn is uniquely served raw and chilled. The kernels are tender and juicy with natural sweetness. Extremely addictive and gets snapped up very quickly as well.

Tastes of Taiwan Pricing at Peppermint

Buffet Lunch is available on Mondays to Sundays and is priced at S$68++ per adult and S$34++ per child (6 to 12 years old). The buffet lunch is priced at S$98++ per adult or S$49++ per child on public holidays, the eve of public holidays and special occasions.

Buffet Dinner is priced at S$88++ per adult or S$44++ per child from Mondays to Thursdays. On Fridays to Sundays, public holidays, the eve of public holidays and special occasions, the buffet dinner is priced at S$98++ for adults and S$49++ per child.

Peppermint was full-house tonight when I celebrated my father’s birthday with my family. We are absolutely happy that restaurants are full again and mice events are back in hotels.
