1 October 2012, Singapore – Chihuly Lounge in Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore offers an indulgent and decadent eight-course afternoon tea set menu (S$42 per person) from Mondays to Fridays, 2.30pm to 5pm. With the bright and modern ambience, it is a perfect place to take it slow and enjoy an afternoon with family or close friends. A very good reason to take a day off, to chill out and pamper your palate.
The meal starts with a refreshing mocktail served with crackers and a to-die-for XO chilli sambal sauce. Just as you are enjoying the interesting non-alcoholic concoction with your savoury and spicy snack, an assortment of over thirty fine premium teas from the Ronnefeldt tea collection is presented. You get to choose from citrus teas to flavoured black teas and even unique blends like “Strawberries with Yoghurt” and “Raspberry Royal”.
While your pot of tea is being prepared, the third course is served – Beef Wellington with Horseradish Cream and Port Wine Jus. On a weekly-rotated basis, they also serve Salmon Coulibiac with Sauce Gribiche.
The main highlight of the menu is a visually impressive three-tier spread of homemade scones, sandwiches, bite-sized savouries and pastries. From Avocado and Cream Cheese in Whole Meal Finger and Cucumber, to Parma Ham on Olive Baguette plus sweets like Macaroons, Chocolate Praline Tarts and Strawberry Puffs.
Dessert is a range of tea cakes, cookies, kueh lapis and assorted pralines. But prior to that, you get to cleanse your palate with a small serving of Berries with Bora-Bora Vanilla Cream and a Sorbet with Raspberry, Mango or Passion Fruit.

This promotion features an exciting range of 13 crumbles like Pina Colada Crumble, Pistachio Cherry Crumble and Rocky Road Crumble. It also includes an extensive assortment of sandwiches, scones, canapes and savory dishes plus a good selection of fine coffee and teas. Some highlights would be the Smoked Salmon with Cucumber and Sweet Corn in a Mini Croissant, Scallop Confit with Pink Ginger and Avruga Cavier canape, Tandoori King Prawn with Sumac Spiced Salsa, and Seafood Otar in Flaky Pastry.
