Cathay Pacific has started a five day two-to-go flash sale from today 18 December till 22 December 2015 to 13 cities starting from S$189. These special fares are offered if you are flying from Singapore to Bangkok and selected cities in Taiwan, Japan and China.
This promotion also lets you earn 25% Asia Miles with fares on Q class as well as a 10% discount off the normal rental fee for an overseas Wi-Fi router device from Changi Recommends.
Chinese New Year falls on 8 and 9 February 2016. Unfortunately these special fares are not available for Chinese New Year or Valentine’s Day on 14 February 2016.
Bangkok

Singapore t0 Bangkok fares at S$229 during the same travel period is valid on CX712 and CX713 only with accruable mileage.
CX712 departs Singapore at 2pm and arrives in Bangkok at 3.15pm. The return flight CX713 departs Bangkok at 12.45pm and arrives in Singapore at 4.03pm.
Chengdu
Or make a visit to the land of the Pandas and amazing scenery at Chengdu in China. Stay at posh hotels such as the Niccolo Chengdu or Temple House. Fares from Singapore to Chengdu are available from S$409 and S$459 for travel between 5 January and 3 February 2016.
Taipei

This fare is not valid from Singapore to Hong Kong on CX710 and CX736. Mileage is accruable on the higher fare.
Tokyo
You can enjoy winter in Tokyo (Haneda or Narita) at S$519 or S$619 from Singapore via Hong Kong when you travel between 5 January 2016 – 3 February 2016 or 16 February 2016 – 29 February 2016. This fare is not valid on CX710 and CX736. Hong Kong to Narita to Hong Kong is valid on CX520/CX500/CX524/CX509 and CX521. There are no flight restrictions from Hong Kong to Singapore. You can accrue mileage on the higher fare.
Osaka
Shop in Shisaibashi in Osaka or visit the Osaka castle. If you are more of at theme park sort of person, then don’t forget Universal Studios Japan, HEP Five Ferris Wheel or the Tempozan Ferris Wheel in Osaka. Travel between 5 January 2016 and 3 February 2016 or 16 February 2016 and 29 February 2016 and you can fly from Singapore to Osaka Kansai International Airport at S$529 or S$629.
