The NATAS Travel Fair returns from 16 to 18 August 2024 at Singapore EXPO Halls 4 and 5. Themed “Your World and Beyond,” NATAS Holidays 2024 encourages travellers to embark on a global journey, explore diverse destinations, and embrace new travel experiences. The fair is open to the public from 10 am to 9.30 pm on 16 to 18 August 2024.
Expect close to 40 travel agents including CTC Travel and EU Holidays alongside airlines, cruise operators, and national tourist organisations (NTOs), including Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and other travel-related exhibitors. The fair will feature 9 NTOs, including new representatives such as Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority and Kyoto by the Sea DMO.

Brunei Darussalam is the destination partner for Holidays 2024. Performances will be showcased on stage over the three-day fair. NATAS and Brunei Darussalam will exchange a Memorandum of Understanding to promote friendly exchange and cooperation at Holidays 2024.

The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition will showcase Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, at the NATAS Holidays 2024 Summer Travel Fair in Singapore. Visitors can explore the Expo’s attractions, including the Singapore pavilion. Highlights include a meet-and-greet with MYAKU-MYAKU, the official character of Expo 2025, and a quiz competition at the Japan pavilion’s mini stage. Capture a commemorative photo, and those who post it on social media or answer the quiz correctly could win exclusive Expo memorabilia. Additionally, there’s a collaboration with Hiroshima Prefecture’s mascot, HIROKUMA, introduced in September 2023. MYAKU-MYAKU will also make its debut on the event’s main stage to promote the Expo’s highlights.

NATAS and NTUC LearningHub (NTUC LHUB) will enter a MOU at the opening ceremony where both entities will co-develop a Certified Travel Professional (CTP) programme, a first-of-its-kind in Singapore’s travel sector, offering targeted courses to equip new travel professionals with emerging skills to widen job opportunities, and upskilling existing professionals with new capabilities for career progression. This initiative is a continuation of Singapore Tourism Board’s efforts with NTUC LHUB to future-proof the tourism workforce. It aligns with NATAS’ strategy to enhance professionalism, foster innovation and encourage the creation of new roles and expansion of existing roles in the sector.

The Embassy of Japan in Singapore, together with JNTO and the Japan Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (J.CLAIR), will hold an award ceremony at 10.30am to 11am on 18 August 2024 at the NATAS Official Stage for the Scenery of Japan Photo Contest on the official NATAS stage.
